SwimKids: Adelaide Hydrotherapy’s new learn-to-swim program

Learning to swim is vital for Australian kids. Summer dips in the pool and beach holidays are part of our culture. That’s why we’re starting up SwimKids: a new learn-to-swim program held at our unique, purpose-built hydrotherapy facility.

Whenever your children are around water, you want to know they’re safe. We’ve teamed up with Royal Lifesaving Australia to employ their ‘Swim and Survive’ program—a comprehensive initiative that seeks to teach all Australian children about staying safe in and around water.

The invaluable initiative comprises three programs: Wonder, Courage and Active. As children grow and move through the three programs, they will develop more advanced knowledge about water safety.

Our unique SwimKids groups

Adelaide Hydrotherapy’s SwimKids program will involve three levels of achievement, each designed for different age groups: AQUA BUBS for 12 to 36 months (Wonder), MARINE CREW for 3 to 5 years (Courage) and SURF SQUAD for 5 to 14+ years (Active).

We aim to provide an accessible space for children from all backgrounds to enjoy learning about water safety in a fun environment. Our instructors are all certified by AUSTSWIM—Australia’s National Organisation for the Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety.

AquaBubs (baby + adult) classes are held Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 10am and 12pm. Our learn-to-swim programs run between 3.30pm and 7pm Monday to Friday and 8am and 12pm on weekends during school terms (no lessons Dec/Jan).

BOOKINGS NOW OPEN! Our classes will commence in Term 3 (Monday 20 July)
